Marine PollutionMarine pollution includes several aspects. Huge amount of ocean debris is floating around the seven seas. This is mainly due to coastal littering and to ocean dumping – an illegal disposal of wastes at sea.Debris tends to accumulate in gyres. A huge amount of trash is trapped in the North Pacific Gyre. This plastic Island is as big as Central Europe! This is beyond my imagination.
